Daniy'el 2 | 1^st Outline

Daniy'el 2 presents the First Prophetic Outline that introduces four great empires. It focused on the rise and fall of those empires and how they would affect Elohiym's people. It begins with the Babylonian Empire reaching to the Second Coming of haMashiyach. Daniy'el 2 is the foundational Outline on which all three following historical-Prophetic Outlines are anchored. It introduced the use of symbols and figures and their meaning, and set the precedent for all the symbols and figures found in the book of Daniy'el and the book of Revelation.

The first Outline was in the context of the dream YaHuWaH gave King Nebuchadnezzar. In the dream, the King saw a dreadful image of a strange man. It terrified the King and he almost annihilated his horde of spiritual Advisers in a desperate bid to understand it. It was Elohiym's way of introducing His servant Daniy'el to the King and kingdom. While explaining the dream and giving the interpretation of all its facets, Daniy'el set all humanity on course to understanding Bible Prophecies.

The bickering nations of western Europe

The 'Outline' sketched the sequence of empires. It did not give details of any events in the careers of any of them. Subsequent "Outlines" will incrementally add details to what we saw through King Nebuchadnezzar's dreaming eyes.

"Note: Scripture declares that the separate national entities left over from the breakup of Imperial Rome will never be put back together to form one cohesive nation or empire again. That was what Adolf Hitler was up against. Also, concerning efforts of the Royal Families of Europe to unite through marriage, Scripture declares: “whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay”. (Daniy'el 2:43)

We see the fulfillment of the above today. Every effort by power after power to unite Europe or parts of it, have woefully failed. No future efforts will succeed! The European Union is neither a Country nor an Empire but political and Trade Block.

Daniy'el 7 | 2^nd Outline

1. In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniy'el had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
2. Daniy'el spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the Heaven strove upon the great sea.
3. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4. The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the Earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

As you read through Chapter 7, you will see that the Prophet saw, a "Bear" follow the "Lion"; a "Leopard with four wings of an eagle", follow the 'Bear'; and then, an almost indescribable monster having, the head of the Lion, legs Iron, teeth of iron, body like a leopard and bear-resembling features. It had ten horns on its head. And soon, an eleventh 'little' horn germinated on its head! This 'little horn' went to war and uprooted three of the original horns and took over the empire! It was blasphemous, murderous, killing uncountable number of Saints, and made away with the Law of YaHuWaH! But Elohiym allowed it time to finish his agenda! But, its destruction was guaranteed! During the career of the 'little horn', Daniy'el saw the "Judgment Scene" convene in Heaven. This Vision is an amazing one. You will do well to dwell on it. Check out this page for more on it.

Each additional Outline begins by repeating or “re-capping” that which was contained in the previous Outline, so the Bible student can be sure he is on the “right track” before adding more information. This repetitive structure in the book of Daniy'el is called “recapitulation.” Recapitulation ensures accurate application to historical events. Each additional historical-Prophetic Outline recapitulates the basic established information in the first vision, using other descriptive terms to supply more specific detail. Then each additional vision gives added information, moving forward in time and enlarging the Prophetic picture, clear to the end of the book.

Outlines' Sequence, Continuity | Hermeneutic Principle

“Outline”?

An "Outline" is the orderly arrangement of items / events in sequence and continuity.

Notice how the "Second Outline" locks into the "first": These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the Earth. Daniy'el 7:17 RNKJV

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon Earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole Earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Notice that we did not need to guess or analyze anything, to understand what "Beast" and "Horns" mean. Elohiym told us that "Beast" means 'empire' and "horns" are like 'kingdoms' within an 'empire'. "Horns" are on the head of a "beast" as an 'empire' contains 'nations'.

The 'four beasts' of the 'second Outline', map unto the 'four' parts of the Image that King Nebuchadnezzar saw. The fourth 'beast', a rampaging power, 'devouring', 'crushing' all in its path, maps unto the 'Iron' legs of Nebuchadnezzar's Image. The 'ten toes' of the "leg", map unto the 'ten horns' on the head of the 'fourth beast' etc.

As the 'fourth beast' locks unto the 'Iron legs' of Nebuchadnezzar's Image, so then, the head of 'gold'; the chest and arms of 'silver'; the loins of 'bronze'; all matched by the "Lion" with eagles' wings; the 'Bear' with 'ribs' in its mouth; and the 'Leopard' with 'four wings' on its back, respectively.

Now, notice as you read the rest of the 'Outline' in all of chapter 7, you will become aware of 'details' of how each empire rose and fell. Notice that the 'first Outline' ended with 'a stone' pulverizing the entire structure and rebuilding it into an infinitely mightier structure. And how the "second Outline" ends with 'a judgment scene' leading to the 'Second-coming' of the 'Son of Man' to destroy existing structures and rebuild, and hand over a rebuilt 'system' to the 'Saints'.

In the four historical-Prophetic Outlines of Daniy'el, each item or verse is arranged within it's Outline in chronological sequence along the stream of time, and time is always moving forward. We cannot live yesterday over again, nor can we jump into next year. Therefore, the verses in an historical-Prophetic Outline must be kept in their inspired sequence and matched to the sequential events of history. This is the key to a valid, logical approach to Prophecy Exposition.

Daniy'el 8 - 9 | 3^rd Outline

1. In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniy'el, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
2. ... and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
3. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
4. I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
5. And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole Earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
6. And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had there seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
7. And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.



8. Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of Heaven.
9. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
10. And it waxed great, even to the host of Heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

15. And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniy'el, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
16. And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gavriy'el, make this man to understand the vision.

Notice that Daniy'el had difficulty understanding the Vision. Then, YaHuWshuaH commanded the Angel Gavriy'el to explain the 'symbols' to Daniy'el. Hear Gavriy'el interpret the symbols below:

20. The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
21. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

At the time of this Vision, Babylon was 'history'. It was the 'day' of the 'chest and arms' of 'silver'; the 'Bear' with 'ribs'. Here, we know for sure, that they both represent the Kingdom of Medo-Persia. The Empire comprised of two nations: Media and Persia, represented by the horns on this beast. Notice that the two horns came up one after another. The bigger 'horn' came up last. "Persia" came up after "Media" and as we know today, "Media" disappeared and we still have "Persia" as the Islamic Republic of Iran. And the Kingdom to follow them would be 'Greece' led by its 'first king' whom we now know was Alexander the Great; as the Angel explained. Amazing, isn't it?

But again, notice that in this Vision, the sequence of kingdoms remained the same - Babylon, Medo-persia, Greece, Rome, Divided Nations. The Vision also revealed expanded details of the battles fought before the 'daily' was transferred from Medo-Persia to Greece. There was also the added fleshing out of the 'Judgment' scene revealed in the 'second Outline'. But here in the 'third Outline', it is called the 'Cleansing of the Sanctuary'. Finally, this Outline gave us the date for the beginning of the 'Judgment event'! Daniy'el 8:14. Amazing. Each "Outline" building on the previous one.

Daniy'el 10 - 12 | 4^th Outline

1. In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniy'el, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2. In those days I Daniy'el was mourning three full weeks.
3. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4. And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;
5. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6. His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7. And I Daniy'el alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9. Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

The 'Fourth Outline' was massive and enthralling. It still followed the same pattern. Sequential and full of details of many aspects of the previous "Outlines". In this Vision Outline, we see 'people', 'marriages', 'children', 'buying and selling' mentioned - in rather literal language mostly, unlike in previous Outlines where lots of Symbols were used. It mentioned a little bit of the Medo-Persians since they were about to be overthrown by the Greeks! It introduced us to how Alexander the Great conquered the world, quickly died and had his kingdom broken into 'four', the 'four heads' of the 'leopard' of second Vision Outline. Alexander, the 'notable horn' of the 'he-goat' of the 'third Outline' was 'broken'. In his place, 'four horns' appeared. And among the 'four', another horn, the 'little horn', which grew into the "legs of Iron" in the 'first Outline', 'the fourth Beast' of the 'Second Outline', emerged. The Vision took us through the Roman Empire; its rise and fall; the break-up of Rome into 'ten nations' and then unto the Dark Ages in a lot of detail showing the end of the first reign of the 'Little Horn', the Papacy. It detailed the clash between Communism-atheism and the Papacy.

The outcome of the clash was the collapse of the Soviet Union and Communism - the 'King of the South'. We are now at the time when the 'King of the North', the Papacy, is in control and enlarging his control and preparing for the "One World" era when he would ascend the throne to reign over the whole world a second and final time. Soon, he would offer the world his 'mark', 'the Mark of the Beast'. YaHuWaH would offer the world His Seal. We would all have a choice to make - a dreadful choice. Recall the most fearful warning in the entire Bible, given to us by the Third Angel of Revelation 14!

While there is a lot of history explained by the 'fourth Outline', notice that our 'future' is the burden of chapter 12, at the end of this Outline.

Daniy'el | Prophecy Exposition

Prophecy Exposition | Historicist “School”

Keeping the sequence and continuity of verses within an historical-Prophetic Outline in their order, is a hermeneutic principle of Prophecy Exposition. This logical method of biblical application is known as “The Historicist 'School' of biblical [Interpretation] Exposition”. This “logical exposition” of Prophecy must be observed in the study of all historical-Prophetic Outlines in both Daniy'el and the Revelation of YaHuWshuaH haMashiyach.

The book of Daniy'el is foundational Prophecy. Revelation is an explanation of the Daniy'el Prophecy. Neither book can be fully understood without the other. The Spirit of Prophecy calls for the two (kindred) books to be studied together, taken together, bound together. Brother John S. Risbeck and Sister Marian G. Berry's book, "Daniy'el And Revelation Bound Together", does exactly that. Blessed are they indeed.

The structure of the book of Daniy'el and that of the book of Revelation follow the same pattern. Daniy'el has four “Heavenly Visions,” but Yahuwchanon saw eight “Heavenly Visions” in the Revelation. In both Daniy'el and Revelation, an Historical-Prophetic Outline follows each Heavenly Scene. In both books, the Historical-Prophetic Outlines are interrupted by an “Interlude” or question, and at the end of each Prophetic Outline there is an end-time event or answer brought to view. The typical sequence of presentations in both books is shown below:

These two books should be carefully perused. ... It was the Lion of the tribe of Yahuwdah who unsealed the book and gave to Yahuwchanon the revelation of what should be in these last days. Daniy'el stood in his lot to bear his testimony, which was sealed until the time of the end, when the First Angel's message should be proclaimed to our world. These matters are of infinite importance in these last days... . The book of Daniy'el is unsealed in the revelation to Yahuwchanon, and it carries us forward to the last scenes of this Earth's history.

Structural Importance

The structure of a book shows how the book is put together. The Revelation is an inspired book of the Bible, and it is the inspired structure of this book that is the key which opens up its meaning and message, permitting the Bible to be its own Interpreter.
It was not a theologian, but a professor of English literature who recently discovered that there is a literary pattern in the basic structure of Revelation. When that structural pattern is recognized and applied, it reveals the correct timing for each Historical-Prophetic Outline in the book; such as the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven Plagues. Knowledge about the very orderly structure of Revelation exposes the errors of “private interpretations,” and removes the idea that this Prophetic book is fragmented and disorganized. (It is Not). Rather, the structure of Revelation reveals the organized plan that Elohiym has appropriately devised for the liberation of his people from sin, (from) their enemies, (from) death and (from) this present world.

Daniy'el & Revelation | Same Structures

"Daniy'el, who wrote the book of Daniy'el, and the Apostle Yahuwchanon, who wrote the book of Revelation, were both Prophets to whom Elohiym gave Visions. The descriptions of what they saw in these Visions are each called a “Heavenly Scene” in the book Daniy'el and Revelation Bound Together. Daniy'el saw four “Heavenly Scenes” ..., and Yahuwchanon saw eight Heavenly Scenes ...
Immediately after a “Heavenly Scene,” both Prophets were given a Historical-Prophetic Outline of events in sequential order. These Prophetic Outlines were time-sequenced events, affecting Elohiym's people that are matched to sequential events in the history of the Church, the rise and fall of nations, political developments, and world history. In both Daniy'el and in Revelation, as well as in both Major Prophetic Outlines, the Great Controversy between good and evil is plainly presented. The end-time persecutor of Elohiym's people is introduced in Daniy'el's Prophecy. The nature, scope and purposes of the persecutor's work is amplified and expanded in the book of Revelation".

It is not the intention of this website to re-litigate the 'inspired works', but to introduce you to them and to make them available to you, simplified. We plead that you read these wonderful works that move the Church forward from Uriah Smith and the Pre-Advent Movements, to the present day. We cannot remain at the knowledge level of our Fathers but must move forward with increasing light.

Bothers Uriah Smith, Mervyn Maxwell and many other wonderful brethren enlightened us with the experiences of Prophecy up to 1844. Marian G. Berry carries us forward to the close of probation but does not detail the nature of most Prophetic events at the end. The Former sdaProphetic ministries, now eleventhhour ministries, took us away from the assumption that the 'stone cut-out without hands' in Daniy'el 2, refers to haMashiyach. The 'Stone' does not refer to haMashiyach directly, but to His final Army - the 144,000. Get updated beloved. Marian G. Berry upended our historical assumptions that Daniy'el chapter 12 is a repetition of Daniy'el 7 and Revelation 12! No it is not. Daniy'el 12 is the Epilogue of the Prophetic Panorama begun in Daniy'el 2; the last part of the history of the World and the experiences soon to be had by the Last Generation of Elohiym's people. You've never seen anything like these. Lay hold of the inspired expositions in her books here. She also brings us up to date on the 7 Seals, the 7 Trumpets, the seven Thunders, and a host of other very important Prophecies. The Song of Songs is the one Prophecy book of the Bible that defied comprehension. But not any more. YaHuWaH illuminated this enigmatic book for our fullest comprehension. It has a lot to reveal in the Plan of Redemption.
