Who Is A Medical Missionary

The world is sick, and wherever the Children of men dwell, suffering abounds. On every hand there is someone seeking for relief. It was never the purpose of Our Heavenly Father that Mankind should be burdened by sickness, pain and death.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

But you and I, have all too frequently and flagrantly transgressed the laws of Elohiym that govern life and Health. Sin has placed such a pathetic yoke on humanity, that by our willful neglect of the Creators laws both Moral and Health, Mankind deliberately chose pain, sickness and death.

Our Heavenly Father who loves us, did not leave us to drown in the lake of diseases and suffering. He sent His only begotten Son YaHuWshuaH, that He might reveal unto us a perfect lifestyle for developing the Character of His Father. Whilst He was among us, His daily life was centered around Healing and Teaching. The Savior's Creed, became the creed of all who follow in His footsteps. They are Medical Missionaries, who follow in His footsteps.

The spirit of YaHuWaH Elohiym [is] upon me; because YaHuWaH hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of YaHuWaH, and the day of vengeance of our Elohiym; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YaHuWaH, that he might be glorified.

Who Should Be A Medical Missionary? | Us

haMashiyach is ever our great example, any where he went, He did good. For he "came to this world as the unwearied servant of man's necessity.

He 'took our infirmities, and bare our sickness', that He might minister to every need of Humanity. MattithYahuw 8:17. The burden of disease and wretchedness and sin He came to remove. It was His mission to bring to men complete restoration; He came to give them (us) health and peace and perfection of character.

The work the disciples did, we also are to do. Every Natsariym is to be a missionary. In sympathy and compassion we are to minister to those in need of help, seeking with unselfish earnestness to lighten the woes of suffering humanity

Every true disciple is born into the kingdom of Elohiym as a missionary

It is His plan that all who are partakers of the great salvation shall be Missionaries for Him

In giving light to His people anciently, Elohiym did not work exclusively through any one class. Daniy'el was a prince of Yahuwdah. YeshaYahuw also was of the royal line. David was a shepherd boy, Amos a herdsman, ZekarYahuw a captive from Babylon, Elisha a tiller of the soil. The Master raised up as His representatives Prophets and princes, the noble and the lowly, and taught them the truths to be given to the world.

To everyone who becomes a partaker of His grace the Master appoints a work for others. Individually we are to stand in our lot and place, saying, "Here am I; send me". YeshaYahuw 6:8. Upon the minister of the word, the missionary nurse, the Natsariym physician, the individual Natsar, whether he be merchant or farmer, professional man or mechanic - the responsibility rests upon all. It is our work to reveal to men the gospel of their salvation. Every enterprise in which we engage should be a means to this end.

The first great business of your life is to be a missionary at home

Whu Medical Missionary Work?

To reach the people, wherever they are, and whatever their position or condition, and to help them in every way possible - This is true Ministry.

People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care. Our Heavenly Savior lived a life of unselfish love, His entire earthly Life was built around service. He never wasted any opportunity in reaching down to souls, no matter how deep such a soul was steeped in sin. From the depraved demoniac of Capernaum, to the wretched invalid by the pool of Bethesda .. Our savior saw in every soul an infinite value, that was not computable. Sin may have cloaked each of these destitute, but, He, our Savior, saw the image of Elohiym that had been marred by sin and the love of unholy passions. In removal of the malady or effect of sin, was a proof that the savior had touched not only the body... but the Mind and Soul.

Medical Missionary work was instituted by the Savior, in order that humanity may be restored back to the image of Elohiym. In this sense, the greatest truth any Medical Missionary must have, is that of, elevating Elohiym's law, both moral and Health. Let (YeshaYahuw 61) be the reference and creed for every Medical Missionary...

It is the duty of every person, for his own sake, and for the sake of humanity, to inform himself in regard to the laws of life and conscientiously to obey them.

Everyday the probation of some is closing. Every hour some are passing beyond the reach of mercy. And where are the voices of warning and entreaty to bid the sinner flee from this fearful doom? Where are those who with humility and persevering faith are pleading with Elohiym for him.

Present Truths & Medical Missionary Work

There is no greater time for Elohiym's people to Heal and Teach, than the time in which the world is in. Everyday some new disease, virus and calamity greets the world as it wakes. The wise men of the Earth are confounded, for their wisdom have become foolishness. In their pride and greed, they have brought desolation and devastation upon the entire Earth. Earthquake, floods, famine, hurricanes and countless calamities plague the world.

The whole of creation groaneth and travaileth together. But not for long, there is a great Hope. There is a battle which has been won, and we have been called to be the Heralds of Victory and Salvation. While we polish our trumpets and blare the Three Angels' messages, we must call this to mind:

One important part of the work of the Ministry is to faithfully present to the people the health reform as it stands connected with the Third Angel's message, is a part and parcel of the same work. They should not fail to adopt it themselves, and should urge it upon all who profess to believe the truth.

Medical Missionary work is the pioneer work of the gospel, the door through which the truth for this time is to find entrance to many homes. Elohiym's people are to be genuine Medical Missionaries, for they are to learn to minister to the needs of both soul and body. The purest unselfishness is to be shown by our workers as, with the knowledge and experience gained by the practical work, they go out to give treatments to the sick. As they go from house to house they will find access to many hearts. Many will be reached who otherwise never would have heard the gospel message.

As the final scenes of the world closes around us, every Medical Missionary must become a reformer and teach a reformation that will take us back to the Original prototype for Humanity- (The Image and Likeness of the Creator Elohiym). We must uphold more steadfastly the laws of Elohiym, both Moral Laws and Health Laws.

Elohiym's servants should be minute men, ever ready to move as fast as his providence opens the way. Any delay on their part gives time for Satan to work to defeat them

The Medical Missionary

Elohiym's people are to be genuine Medical Missionaries. They are to learn to minister to the needs of soul and body. They should know how to give the simple treatments that do so much to relieve pain and remove disease. They should be familiar with the principles of health reform, that they may show others how, by right habits of eating, drinking, and dressing, disease may be prevented and health regained. A demonstration of the value of the principles of health reform will do much toward removing prejudice against our evangelical work. The Great Physician, the Originator of Medical Missionary work, will bless everyone who will go forward humbly and trustfully, seeking to impart the truth for this time.

Becoming a Medical Missionary is a conscious effort by Elohiym's people to Study and Learn how best to give the simple treatments that do so much to relieve suffering and remove disease. There abounds tons of resources and guidelines in this regard.

Below are some basic guidelines for a Medical Missionary as he daily improves His skill and knowledge for service to both Elohiym and humanity.

The Bible | Your Anchor & Guiding Principle.

1. From the study of the Word of life, students may come forth with minds expanded, elevated, ennobled. If they are, like Daniy'el, hearers and doers of the Word of Elohiym, they may advance as he did in all the branches of learning. Being pure-minded, they will become strong-minded. Every intellectual faculty will be quickened. They may so educate and discipline themselves that all within the sphere of their influence shall see what man can be, and what he can do, when connected with the Elohiym of wisdom and power.

2. Study YaHuWshuaH's Life, Follow his example, always ask WWYD. What Would YaHuWshuaH Do?

   Do you, my brethren and sisters, inquire: What model shall we copy? I do not point you to great and good men, but to the world's Redeemer. If we would have the true missionary spirit we must be imbued with the love of haMashiyach: we must look to the Author and Finisher of our faith, study His character, cultivate His spirit of meekness and humility, and walk in His footsteps.

3. Study books on the subject - The Ministry of Healing, Medical Missionary Manual especially. There is an immense store of Knowledge on the subject of health and health reform.

   Let our people show that they have a living interest in Medical Missionary work. Let them prepare themselves for usefulness by studying the books that have been written for our instruction in these lines.

4. Start from your home

   As you faithfully do your duty in the home, the father as a priest of the household, the mother as a home Missionary, you are multiplying agencies for doing good outside of the home.

   The demon of intemperance is of giant strength, and is not easily conquered. But if parents begin the crusade against it at their own firesides, in their own families, in the principles they teach their children from very infancy, then they may hope for success. It will pay you, mothers, to use the precious hours which are given you by Elohiym in forming the characters of your children, and in teaching them to adhere strictly to the principles of temperance in eating and drinking.

5. Take the message to your local Church

   The Medical Missionary work should be a part of every Church in our land.

   Every Church should be a training-school for the Natsariym workers. Its members should be taught how to give Bible readings, how to conduct and teach Sabbath-school classes, how best to help the poor and to care for the sick, how to work for the unconverted. There should be schools of health, cooking schools, and classes in various lines of the Natsariym-help work. There should not only be teaching, but actual work under experienced Instructors. Let the teachers lead the way in working among the people, and others, uniting with them, will learn from their example. One example is worth more than many precepts.

6. Take Message to Large Gatherings & Camp-Meetings

   At our large gatherings, instruction should be given upon health and temperance. Seek to arouse the intellect and the conscience. Bring into service all the talent at command, and follow up the work with publications upon the subject. 'Educate, educate, educate,' is the message that has been impressed upon me.

   On such occasions as our annual camp meetings we must never loose sight of the opportunities afforded for teaching the believers how to do practical missionary work in the place where they may live. In many instances it would be well to set apart certain men to carry the burden of different lines of educational work at these meetings. Let some help the people to learn how to give Bible readings and to conduct cottage meetings. Let others bear the burden of teaching the people how to practice the principles of health and temperance, and how to give treatments to the sick. Still others may labor in the interests of our periodical and bookwork.

7. Engage in active and Strategic Evangelistic efforts

   In every way possible, and given any opportunity in any sphere of life, always be quick to inform the people providence brings across your way, on the Truths of Life.

   And YaHuWshuaH came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in my Name the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world". Amein.

8. Country Sanitariums / Affiliated Medical Missionary Schools

   From our Sanitariums trained workers are to go forth into places where the truth has never been proclaimed, and do missionary work for the Master.

   The Master calls upon our young people to enter our schools and quickly fit themselves for service. In various places, outside of cities, schools are to be established, where our youth can receive an education that will prepare them to go forth to do evangelical work and Medical Missionary work.

10. City Mission Training Schools

    There should be connected with our Missions, training schools for those who are about to enter the field as laborers. They should feel that they must become as apprentices to learn the trade of laboring for the conversion of souls.

    While city Missions must be established where Colporteurs, Bible workers, and practical Medical Missionaries may be trained to reach certain classes, we must also have, in our cities, consecrated evangelists through whom a message is to be borne so decidedly as to startle the hearers.

11. Begin Your Work in The School of Experience - Start Wherever You Are. Start Now!

    All around us are doors open for service. We should become acquainted with our neighbors, and seek to draw them to haMashiyach. As we do this, He will approve and cooperate with us.

Elohiym calls for workers. The cause needs men who are self-made, who, placing themselves in the hands of the Master as humble learners, have proved themselves workers together with Him. These are the men that are needed in the Ministry and in the school work. Let those who have shown themselves to be men move out and do what they can in the Master's service. Let them step into the ranks of workers and by patient, continuous effort prove their worth. It is in the water, not on the land, that we learn to swim.

(NB) - Avoid the danger of preparing long periods before becoming engaged in active labor...

There are among us many young men and women who, if inducements were held out, would naturally be inclined to take several years' course of study to fit themselves for service. But will it pay? Time is short. Workers for haMashiyach are needed everywhere. There should be a hundred earnest, faithful laborers in home and foreign mission fields where now there is but one. The highways and byways are yet un-worked. Urgent inducements should be held out to those who ought now to be engaged in work for the Master.

Medical Missionary | Scope Of Work

Many of the Saviors' true disciples today, desire to take forward all present truths and uphold before the world what true Natsariym Lifestyle and Character should be. True followers of haMashiyach desire to render help, they desire to reach-out to souls: but very often ignorance of the scope and urgency of the work for this present time limits the efficiency of Elohiym's children.

The fifty-eighth chapter of YeshaYahuw contains present truth for the people of Elohiym. Here we see how Medical Missionary work and the gospel Ministry are to be bound together as the message is given to the world. Upon those who keep the Sabbath of the Master YAHUWAH is laid the responsibility of doing a work of mercy and benevolence. Medical Missionary work is to be bound up with the message, and sealed with the seal of Elohiym.

The breadth of gospel Medical Missionary work is not understood. The Medical Missionary work now called for is outlined in the commission which haMashiyach gave to His disciples just before His ascension. "All power is given unto me in Heaven and Earth, 'He said. 'Go ye therefore, and teach all nations... teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world; our work is the proclamation of the truths which haMashiyach came to our world to proclaim.

As religious aggression subverts the liberties of our nation, those who would stand for freedom of conscience will be placed in unfavorable positions. For their own sake, they should, while they have the opportunity, become intelligent in regard to disease, its cause, prevention, and cure. All those who do this will find a field of labor anywhere. There will be suffering ones, plenty of them, who will need help.

The Missionary cannot only relieve physical maladies, but he can lead the sinner to the Great Physician, who can cleanse the soul from the leprosy of sin.

On Education

A Medical Missionary must do all that is within his power to instruct himself, his family, Church and community, continually on these things:

• ☞ Teach the people that true healing comes from the removal of impurities and by obedience to the laws of Nature.

• ☞ Teach the people how to avoid disease by obedience to the laws of life that govern the Human body.
• ☞ Teach the people that their obedience to these physical laws will determine in a great measure their eternal destiny!

Lifestyle Of The Medical Missionary

Medical Missionary work and lifestyle are two inseparable entities. The lifestyle of the Medical Missionary is what gives His work power and credence. Obeying Elohiym's law, is the Fundamental for every Natsar. The law of Elohiym is a law of love, and love is the foundation for every Medical Missionary endeavor. The life of the true Medical Missionary must be permeated by the law of Elohiym - which is the law of Love.

In his life must be seen the working of a power that is divine. If he fails here, however forcible or persuasive his words may be, his influence will tell for evil.

And YaHuWshuaH answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Yashar'el; YaHuWaH our Elohiym is One ...:
And thou shalt love YaHuWaH thy Elohiym with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment. And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

In the walk of love with Elohiym, His Neighbor and Himself, the true Medical Missionary will strive to please Elohiym in the way and type of food he eats, in the way of dressing, in his speech and countenance. He must be truly converted, for he is a Son of Light. He must be Modest and Temperate in all things.

Recklessness in physical habits tends to recklessness in morals

Those who understand the laws of Health and who are governed by principle, will shun the extremes, both of indulgence and of restriction. Their diet is chosen, not for the mere gratification of appetite, but for the up-building of the body. They seek to preserve every power in the best condition for highest service to Elohiym and Man. The appetite is under the control of reason and conscience, and they are rewarded with health of body and mind.

Those who are seeking to rescue others from vice and ruin are especially exposed to temptation.

Medical Missionary | Required Attitude

The life of every Medical Missionary is fraught with obstacles and perplexity, but if he like Apostle Paul decides to finish the race, there awaits Him, a crown of Light and Glory. In order for the Medical Missionary to persevere and overcome, his very life must be marked by an attitude. An attitude of an Overcomer.

Let the heart be continually uplifted in silent petition for help, for light, for strength, for knowledge. Let every breath be a prayer.

We need to keep ever before us this vision of things unseen. It is thus we shall be able to set a right value on the things of eternity and the things of time. It is this, that will give us power to influence others for the higher life.

Walk continually in the light of Elohiym. Meditate day and night upon His Character. Then you will see His beauty and rejoice in His goodness. Your heart will glow with a sense of His love. You will be uplifted as if borne by everlasting arms. With the power and light that Elohiym imparts, you can comprehend more and accomplish more than you ever before deemed possible.

But when we give ourselves wholly to Elohiym and in our work follow His directions, He makes Himself responsible for its accomplishment. He would not have us conjecture as to the success of our honest endeavors. Not once should we even think of failure. We are to cooperate with One who knows no failure.

Medical Missionary | Routine

1. Pray for more effective Laborers

   Men of stamina are wanted, men who will not wait to have their way smoothed and every obstacle removed, men who will inspire with fresh zeal the flagging efforts of dispirited workers, men whose hearts are warm with Natsariym love and whose hands are strong to do their Master's work.

2. Have Quiet Hours of Communion

   If the rush of work is allowed to drive us from our purpose of seeking the Master daily, we shall make the greatest mistakes; we shall incur losses, for YaHuWaH is not with us; we have closed the door so that He cannot find access to our souls. But if we pray even when our hands are employed, the savior's ear is open to hear our petitions. If we are determined not to be separated from the source of our strength, YaHuWshuaH will be just as determined to be at our right hand to help us, that we may not be put to shame before our enemies. The grace of haMashiyach can accomplish for us that which all our efforts will fail to do.

3. Be Refreshed

   Amidst the hurrying throng, and the strain of life's intense activities, he who is thus refreshed will be surrounded with an atmosphere of light and peace. He will receive a new endowment of both physical and mental strength. His life will breathe out a fragrance, and will reveal a divine power that will reach men's hearts.

4. Judge Not!

   In working for the victims of evil habits, instead of pointing them to the despair and ruin toward which they are hastening, turn their eyes away to YaHuWshuaH. Fix them upon the glories of the Heavenly. This will do more for the saving of body and soul than will all the terrors of the grave when kept before the helpless and apparently hopeless.

   Never think that you have learned enough, and that you may now relax your efforts. The cultivated mind is the measure of the mind.

6. Faith-Equipped? | Look to YaHuWshuaH

   Faith is a mightier conqueror than death. If the sick can be led to fix their eyes in faith upon the Mighty Healer, we shall see wonderful results. It will bring life to the body and to the soul.

Never, never, never forget your great example and the source of your inspiration.

When temptations assail you, when care and perplexity surround you, when depressed and discouraged, you are ready to despair, look to YaHuWshuaH, and the darkness that encompass you will be dispelled by the bright shining of His presence.
